Grandma’s yogourt cake

An easy recipe ! You don’t need a scale or a measuring cup to make this cake….yoghourt pot will do the job in this recipe! Recipe suggested by Jennifer Martin from the blog named “Des papilles qui pétillent”


Preparation : 20 min

Cooking : 50 min

For 1 cake

  • 1 vegetal yoghourt pot 
  • 2 pots of whole rice flour 
  • 1 pot of chesnut flour 
  • 1 half of a pot of coconut sugar or whole sugar cane 
  • 2 tablespoons of whole almond butter 
  • 2 eggs vegetal milk (equivalent to one pot) 
  • 1 gluten free baking powder sachet (equals to 1 teaspoon) 
  • 1 tablespoon of blond psyllium (optional) 
  • 1 teaspoon of organic cinnamon 
  • 1 big organic apple 
  • Nuts, poppy seeds, butternut seeds…

  1. Fill the vitaliseur’s tank one-third full with water to make it boil. Stir the dry ingredients together in a bowl and the moist ingredients in another bowl. Cut the apple in small pieces and save 3 slices to decorate your cake
  2. Assemble all the ingredients and pour in a greased cake pan
  3. Place the cake pan on the cooking basket and cook for 50 minutes
  4. Remove your cake from the pan and leave it cool down for an hour on a kitchen grid
  5. Enjoy your cake !
  6. You can freeze you cake in slices to savour later
